Thanks for the great response to our Hollywood ASST video. We really appreciate all your stories and comments. My favorite responses are the “yeah, this makes me laugh…but it also makes me sad” comments. I feel your pain.

Hi Guys:
A producer friend of mine sent me the link to your video, and I love it!! I’m a freelance writer in LA who opted to go the independent route in film and tv instead of starting as an assistant…pretty much for all of the reasons you pointed out in the video. Anyway, I hope you don’t mind, but I posted your video on my blog today and have started linking to you guys there, as well.

I was never a Hollywood Assistant but I was an assistant to an up and coming artist.
